Group-level responsibility for product and portfolio ownership of the Cold Coffee Drinks portfolio
Löfbergs is a well-established, international, family-owned coffee company with strong values and a long-term perspective. Building on its core coffee business, Löfbergs entered the cold coffee segment over a decade ago and is now accelerating this area as an important growth driver.
Löfbergs is now looking for a Group Portfolio Manager – Cold Coffee Drinks to take group-level responsibility for developing and growing this strategically important portfolio. The role offers the opportunity to bring clarity, direction and momentum to a category that plays an important role in future growth, portfolio balance and overall brand strength across both Retail and Out of Home.
As Group Portfolio Manager, you will have overall responsibility for the Cold Coffee product and portfolio at group level, including product and portfolio decisions, supplier and cost requirements, and processes for life-cycle management enabling growth across Retail and Out of Home markets.
Cold Coffee Drinks is still a relatively small part of the business, which makes this a rare opportunity to shape and grow a portfolio with real long-term impact. The role combines clear responsibility for product and portfolio ownership with the opportunity to influence how Löfbergs builds its cold coffee offering across markets.
As Group Portfolio Manager, you are expected to establish clarity and structure early on by defining a clear product vision, portfolio direction and ways of working across the value chain. Over time, the focus shifts towards scaling a competitive and profitable portfolio, strengthening the strategic role of cold coffee within Löfbergs’ total offering, and enabling expansion across markets.
Key tasks for the role include:
Owning product and portfolio decisions for Cold Coffee Drinks across the full product life cycle
Defining and maintaining a clear product vision, portfolio direction and NPD roadmap
Setting requirements for product features, margins, cost levels and supplier setup in close collaboration with sourcing, production, finance and sales
Coordinating portfolio planning and execution across markets within an international matrix organisation
Following up portfolio performance and using insights to strengthen growth and brand position over time
You will work closely with brand, marketing, sourcing, production, finance and local market organisations in an international matrix. The role comes without formal line management responsibility but requires seniority in indirect leadership, working with a broad range of internal stakeholders across group management, operations and local markets, as well as with external partners. The role requires strong collaboration skills and the ability to lead through influence.
The role is formally located in Karlstad, Sweden. Candidates based in other locations within Sweden may be considered, with regular presence in Karlstad. Travel within Sweden and Europe are part of the role.
Who Löfbergs is looking for
Löfbergs is looking for someone who wants to take real ownership and enjoys bringing structure and direction to complex, competitive environments. The role requires the ability to work with senior stakeholders across the organisation, make clear strategic choices, and turn direction into concrete plans that can be executed across markets and functions.
Solid experience from product, portfolio or category management is important, ideally from environments where products are not highly differentiated and where portfolio balance, margins and execution matter. Experience of working with sourcing, suppliers and cost or margin topics is highly relevant, as product decisions are closely linked to the value chain.
The role requires confidence in leading without formal authority. You are comfortable influencing and aligning people across functions such as brand, marketing, sourcing, production and local markets, and used to driving progress through collaboration rather than hierarchy.
An interest in sustainability is essential. At Löfbergs, sustainability is part of everyday decisions – from sourcing and production to product development and brand building.
